PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: 12 October 2026

This page explains what personal data the renobo.it website collects, why it collects it and what your rights are, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the “GDPR”) and the Italian Personal Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003). In short: the website does not use profiling or third-party cookies, visit statistics are anonymous, and the only personal data we receive is what you choose to send us through the contact form.

Data controller

The data controller, meaning the party that decides how and why the data is processed, is:

Renobo
E-mail: info@renobo.it

You can write to this address with any question about this notice or your data.

What data we process and why

Contact form

If you write to us using the form on the Contact us page, we collect the data you enter: full name, company, e-mail address, subject and message. Only the e-mail address is required, as we need it to reply to you. Together with your message we only receive an indication of the version of the website, Italian or English, you are writing from.

  • Purpose: to reply to your enquiry and, if a business relationship follows, to act on it. The data is not used to send newsletters or promotional messages.
  • Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • How it is handled: your message reaches the server hosting the website and is sent as an e-mail to info@renobo.it through SMTP2GO, an e-mail delivery service that acts on our behalf as a data processor. To protect the form from automated messages (spam), the server limits the number of submissions that can be sent from the same IP address.
  • How long we keep it: for as long as is needed to handle your enquiry and any relationship that follows; the messages are then deleted, unless the law requires us to keep them for longer.

Providing your data is optional, but without an e-mail address we cannot reply to you.

Browsing data

As with any website, the servers hosting renobo.it automatically record some technical data about each request: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system. We use it only to run the website and protect it from abuse, on the basis of our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use it to identify visitors and we keep it for a limited period, unless it is needed to investigate computer crime.

Fonts and external links

The website’s fonts are hosted on our own servers, so browsing does not involve connections to external services such as Google Fonts. Links to social media profiles (LinkedIn, X, Instagram) and to our partners’ websites are plain links: no data is sent to those websites until you open them, at which point their own privacy policies apply.

Cookies are small text files that a website can store in your browser. renobo.it does not use profiling cookies or third-party cookies, and it does not set any cookies of its own, not even for statistics. This is why the website does not show a cookie consent banner.

The only exception is the 4Track video. On the 4Track page the video is hosted on Vimeo. The Vimeo player is loaded only if you press PLAY: until then your browser does not connect to Vimeo. The player is loaded with the “Do Not Track” option (dnt=1 parameter), which asks Vimeo not to track the viewing session; Vimeo may still set the technical cookies needed for playback and process some data, such as your IP address, as an independent controller, in accordance with its own privacy policy. Vimeo is based in the United States.

You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings.

Who can see the data

The data is neither published nor sold. It can only be accessed by Renobo staff responsible for handling enquiries and by the providers of the technical services we need (website hosting, delivery of the form e-mails, e-mail), appointed as data processors under Article 28 GDPR. Should a provider process data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer would only take place with the safeguards set out in Articles 44–49 GDPR, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

At any time, under Articles 15–22 GDPR, you can ask us:

  • for access to your data and a copy of it;
  • to correct or complete it;
  • to erase it;
  • to restrict its processing;
  • to receive it in a structured, machine-readable format, or to have it transmitted to another controller (portability);
  • to stop processing it on the basis of our legitimate interest (right to object).

We do not take decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling. To exercise your rights, write to info@renobo.it: we will reply without undue delay and in any case within one month.

If you believe that the processing of your data breaches the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live or work.

Changes to this notice
